 DYEING PROCEDURE
DYEING OF ACRYLIC YARN WITH
BASIC DYES :
PREPARATION OF MATERIAL
Acrylic Yarn is to be bulked before dyeing :- Boil the Water and
dip entire yarn in to boiling water and switch of the heat and let bath to come
down to room temperature. Now the treated material is used for dyeing.
Preparation of Solution :
Required quantity of the dye is
weighed in a dry vassal and 1/3rd the weight of dye of Acetic Acid
Conc. Is added and pasted thoroughly and then required quantity of boiling water
is added to dissolve the dye.
Dyeing Procedure :-
Dye bath is set as per the recipe

Add the material and dye at 600
for 10min. Again add the dye solution and slowly raise the temperature to boil
at the rate of 1’/mt. Boil for 1 hour and let cool down bath to room temperature
before removing the yarn, rinse and dry. |
