 DYEING PROCEDURE
|
Being of major interest in printing applications, a variety of dyeing
methods are used.

EXHAUST DYEING THROUGH JIGGER
MACHINES
-
Bath is set with water as required at 40oC, add half the
dyestuff solution with 1-2 g/l resist salt, Run 1 turn and add the
remaining half solution and run for another turn. -
Add half of the salt and raise the temperature slowly. (650
to 85oC after two turns). Run for 1 turn and then add the
balance salt and give another turn.

Add half of pre-dissolved alkali and give one turn 800C.
Add remaining alkali and give three turn. To get better fixation give
two more turns and then drain the lieu or.
