DYEING PROCEDURE




Being of major interest in printing applications, a variety of dyeing methods are used.

 

      

      

   



      

EXHAUST DYEING THROUGH JIGGER MACHINES

  1. Bath is set with water as required at 40oC, add half the dyestuff solution with 1-2 g/l resist salt, Run 1 turn and add the remaining half solution and run for another turn.

  2. Add half of the salt and raise the temperature slowly. (650 to 85oC after two turns). Run for 1 turn and then add the balance salt and give another turn.

  3. Add half of pre-dissolved alkali and give one turn 800C. Add remaining alkali and give three turn. To get better fixation give two more turns and then drain the lieu or.
